I received a task from the client to create a secure personal area where patients could view their imaging test results performed at our facility.
We needed to minimize the waiting time for results, thereby reducing the anxiety associated with waiting to learn whether there was an abnormal finding or if everything was normal. We also wanted to streamline and simplify the administrative work involved in manually delivering interpretation results to clients.
Additionally, we wanted to enable access to the personal area from anywhere: from a café, the beach, or while on vacation in Costa Rica.
